Prime Video has revealed the trailer for the second season of "American Rust" with Jeff Daniels

In the new episodes, Del Harris will be investigating a series of murders.

Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for the second season of the TV series "American Rust", subtitled "Broken Justice". The main roles in the project are played by Maura Tierney and Jeff Daniels.

Daniels plays Del Harris, a police chief from a small Pennsylvania town in the "rust belt" of the United States. When news spreads through the town of a murder committed by the son of the woman Harris loves, he must decide what he is willing to do to protect the family.

In the second season, Harris will take on the investigation of a series of seemingly unrelated murders that are intertwined into a massive conspiracy that threatens everyone in the small town. The new season will consist of ten episodes, which will be released on Prime Video on March 28.

@Kirilive: if you like slow, not particularly hasty and sometimes boring narration, then you can take a look. in principle, the drama is not bad, but it is very amateur. there is no wow action here, "chernukha" in American, I would say.

@Kirilive: The author of the book tried to describe the real problems of the USA, namely the Rust Belt (therefore, apparently, American rust). But the book was written 15 years ago, and the author collected materials for the book 20 years ago. On the one hand, the plot of the series is quite close to the book, and on the other hand, some of the storylines have been changed to meet current ideological requirements.
The plot is social, suggestive, and not for entertainment.
There is no book basis for the second season, so apparently it will be about something else...
