Ella Purnell leaves the asylum in the "Fallout" series trailer

Amazon Prime Video has released a trailer for "Fallout", a TV series based on the video game series of the same name. The video also announced a new premiere date for the show — April 11. On that day Prime Video will release all eight episodes of the first season of the project.

The action of the series unfolds in a dystopian dystopian future. 200 years after the nuclear apocalypse, people who hid from the catastrophe in underground bunkers, return to the land world and horrified to discover what has become of it over the years.

Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Aaron Moten play the lead roles in the series, and the show is created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the creators of "Westworld". Nolan has also directed several episodes of the upcoming project.
