Madeline Brewer ("The Handmaid's Tale") has joined the cast of the fifth and final season of Netflix's series "You".
She will play a playwright named Bronte who takes a job at Joe's Bookstore. As they get to know each other better, discussing literature and loss, she awakens Joe's nostalgia for his former self, causing him to question everything his life has become.
The "You" series is about Joe, an ordinary bookstore manager in New York City who has a dark side. Joe is a stalker who is willing to do anything for a relationship. Including a crime.
The main role in the series is played by Penn Badgley. He will return in the fifth season, the action of which will again develop in New York. The release date of the final part has not yet been disclosed.
