The premiere of "The Batman — Part II" has been pushed back a year
Warner Bros. has postponed the premiere date of the second part of "The Batman": now the sequel will be released on October 2, 2026 instead of October 3, 2025. The publication Deadline connects the postponement with the strikes of actors and screenwriters last year.
Previously, director Matt Reeves had to postpone the shooting of the movie because of these strikes, but then the studio promised that the delay will not affect the release date of the project.
The plot of the sequel is not yet disclosed. The main role in the picture played by Robert Pattinson, and Reeves, who put the first part, will act not only as director of the sequel, but also as a screenwriter.
"The Batman" was released in March 2022 and collected at the box office $772 million with a budget of $185-200. The picture also received three Oscar nominations, but did not win any of them.
