The series is about young people from Birmingham who decide to put together a rock band.
The BBC has released a trailer for the musical drama "This Town", a new project from Steven Knight, best known for the TV series "Peaky Blinders".
"This Town" will tell the story of a group of young people who start a rock band in the midst of political unrest in Birmingham and Coventry in the early 80s. The show will show how creativity can be born out of violence and street fighting.
Knight has written all six episodes of the project. He describes the series as "love letter to Birmingham and Coventry” about “an era I loved through and know well and [involving] characters who I feel I grew up with". The project will premiere on March 31.
