Jo Nesbø will write a series about Harry Hole for Netflix
It will be released in 2026.
Norwegian writer Jo Nesbø will debut as a screenwriter: a series with the working title "Harri Hole", authored by Nesbø, will be released on Netflix. The upcoming project will be based on his novel "The Devil's Star".
The series will tell about detective Harry Hole, who lost everything because of a corrupt colleague Tom Waaler: a girl, a job and peace of mind. But when Harry gets the last assignment — to find the killer of a woman who had her index finger cut off, he has to investigate with the only officer who is not on vacation — Tom Waaler.
The upcoming show will be directed by Øystein Karlsen ("Exit"). The project is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
