"The Act"
Crime, drama | 4.1 out of 5 on MyShows | 2019
The series tells the story of Gypsy Blanchard, a girl with cancer who lives with her overprotective mother Dee Dee. Gradually, Gypsy grows up and increasingly dreams of independence. In the struggle for freedom, the girl learns a terrible secret: it turns out that she is not sick, and her mother has successfully deceived not only her, but also the rest of her relatives, friends, and even doctors.
"Very heavy emotionally the series, especially if you google the real characters of the story, and it gets to goosebumps. It's definitely worth watching", — mari_khud.
"One of the most interesting yet creepy stories. I loved how the degree of insanity gradually reached its peak. From the beginning of the series where everything was lickety-split, rosy picture, happy to the point of being unnatural characters, and already how by the end of the series everything was in green and dark colors", — Paul_Wolf.
"Not only is the series insanely beautiful, it's also insanely interesting. Every time I see the inscription that it's based on real events, then straight fart, it's hard to realize that this is not a fiction of the writers, and real events", — Ariel.

"Five Days at Memorial"
Drama | 4.2 out of 5 on MyShows | 2022
In 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. The series tells the story of how the doctors and nurses at a local Memorial hospital survived the first five days of the hurricane. They were left without power, and when the heat became completely unbearable, they had to make choices whose consequences haunted them for years to come.
"It's just something amazing! Simultaneously creepy in an uplifting series that shows that the world is not only divided into black and white. Vera Farmiga is gorgeous as always! Of the secondary characters Molly Hager and Cherry Jones played 11/10. I believe this is one of the best Apple TV projects of all time, waiting for which new series was unimaginably agonizing", — rueful_dream.
"A very strong drama that raises serious questions of morality and humanity. The first five episodes are watched simply on one breath and with tears in my eyes. The series asks a lot of questions, but doesn't give us answers, just a lot of food for thought", — Green_Wonder.
"What an amazing series this is. The dramaturgy, camerawork, acting - everything is top notch. And how much food for thought to everyone who watched left", — anastasialeal.

"Dopesick"
Drama | 4.34 out of 5 on MyShows | 2021
The project tells the story of the company that triggered the worst drug epidemic in U.S. history, which is still unresolved. The epidemic is shown from different perspectives: doctors, patients, drug manufacturers, and those trying to stop the spread of opioids.
"The series is great, watched it twice already! Michael Keaton does a fantastic job. I suggest the documentary 'Crime of the Century' on the same topic", — kikajan.
"I was ready to keep watching and continue watching the series in this vein. It's breathtaking to see that the events are real. The last episode both brought tears and goosebumps. One of the best series of the year", — UndeR.
"Awesome series. As for me, nothing inferior to such classics of the genre as On the Needle or Requiem for a Dream, if not even superior to them, given the broader coverage of the problem. The first couple of episodes still went with difficulty, due to the just beginning to rock the plot, and the manner of narration with constant time jumps, but then I just could not tear myself away. Definitely one of the best series of 2021", — Lazy_Pie.

"Generation Kill"
Drama, military | 4.3 out of 5 on MyShows | 2008
Iraq, 2003. Rolling Stone reporter Evan Wright accompanies a U.S. Marine reconnaissance battalion leading an assault on Baghdad. Wright gets to the epicenter of the war and immerses himself in the difficult everyday life of the U.S. military, seeing the deplorable state of the army, the lack of supplies, and the pervasive bureaucracy. This is an honest and compelling unvarnished war story.
"One of the best military series I've ever seen. I watched it with great pleasure and remained enthralled until the end. From the detail, the realism, the dynamics, the sloppiness of the conducted fighting in cities and villages, the Amer jokes, the everyday life, the many phrases that were uttered by the soldiers, that girl from Baghdad, and the civilians", — frau_schnapps.
"Cynical, tough, no pathos or cheap propaganda. Without embellishments and romanticization of war, but at the same time without unnecessary blackness and moralizing. All in all, a great series", — Seraphimer.
"One of the best series on military themes, on a par with "Brothers in Arms", the realism of what is happening only goes in favor", — ravril.

Drama, comedy | 4.33 out of 5 on MyShows | 2021
After surviving domestic violence, Alex runs away from her boyfriend with their young daughter Maddy. She has no money or any support, so she takes a job as a cleaner to make ends meet and take care of her little girl.
"Terrific series, watched it in one breath. Alex is wonderful and strong, and the first episode where she says that the shelter beds should go to the 'real victims' is just to the heart of the matter. Very glad they made a series not about physical but emotional and financial abuse, maybe this will teach people not to say the phrase "at least he doesn't beat me" and run away", — marisa_dm.
"Terrific series, wonderful Margaret Queally. The camerawork, the actors, the story, the music - everything came together into the perfect serialized puzzle for me", — TwilightFAN.
"The series is cannon! The actress is well just incredible🔥 What acting! What eyes! I would like to specially mention the dialogs and the cameraman's work. Not a second did not rewind, just crazy delight and interest!" — AndreySmith13.

"I don't have five stars enough to rate this series! I started watching only because of Tahar, but the plot gripped me from the very first episode. I haven't been so hooked in a long time that I didn't quit in the middle or fast-forward through episodes", — purehell.
"It's just incomprehensible why this great series has passed by the attention of viewers and critics alike. It really stands out in the general flow due to the high level, meticulous and quality approach of the authors to telling the story. Excellent work of both actors and creators (filming, editing, sound, props - all at the highest level). If you decide to watch it - don't hesitate, you won't regret it, it's worth the time spent", — QuiltersQuilt.
"Interesting series, creepy plot, breathtaking drama. Classy stylish backdrop. Great actors: Tahar Rahim is a discovery for me, Jenna and Ellie are good, the list goes on endlessly.... the case itself just takes out the brain. I found out about the series after I found out about the case. everyone praises the implementation.
I may not be precise in the details, but the beginning of the case looks something like this:
the girl claimed rape: a certain man broke in, tied up and did his business. and then he just left, destroying all the evidence.
Police: We think you were dreaming. Don't you know? Don't you remember well? Are you confused? write officially that these are your strange dreams. but in general, no, it's better to write that you invented everything on purpose. By the way, your family and friends think so too, even though you've never lied. Oh, yes, hold the subpoena. Oh, and don't forget the 600 bucks fine that you're such a liar and wasting our time. And of course, don't forget that the whole city hates you now.
Meanwhile, other police officers are investigating strange rape break-ins in other parts of the country.
you understand that the zigzags of the story promise to be interesting. and it was real.
