Watch the trailer for the second season of the police procedural "Blue Lights"
BBC released a trailer of the second season of the police procedural "Blue Lights", which will premiere on April 15. On that day, the BBC will show all six episodes of the new part of the project.
The show follows rookie police officers working in Belfast, a city where working on the front lines comes with a unique set of challenges and dangers. While learning the basics of the profession, the officers have to put up with constant threats and brutality.
The action of the second series unfolds a year after the events of the first. The professionalism of Grace, Annie, and Tommy grows, but nothing can prepare them for the difficulties they will face when a young loyalist begins to threaten the city.
The show's first season aired last March and garnered an impressive audience. In April 2023, the BBC renewed the series for the second season, and in February ordered production on two more seasons — the third and the fourth.
