Quentin Tarantino has changed his mind about filming "The Movie Critic"
Director Quentin Tarantino has given up on the idea of making a movie called "The Movie Critic", which was supposed to be the tenth and final project in the director's career. According to Deadline's sources, the director "simply changed his mind".
"The Movie Critic" was supposed to be set in 1977 Los Angeles. The project would have been about a man who wrote movie reviews for a porn magazine. According to Tarantino, when writing the script he was inspired by a job he had as a teenager: loading porn magazines into a vending machine and pulling quarters out of the cash register. He didn't like most of the publications, but one day he came across a porn magazine that had a very interesting movie review section. He especially liked one critic who wrote "very, very funny".
The lead role in "The Movie Critic was to be played by Brad Pitt, and shooting was scheduled to begin in 2024. Tarantino was rumored to be rewriting the film's script, causing production to be delayed. But now, according to Deadline, Tarantino has abandoned the project altogether and decided that his latest movie will be different.

Well, to be honest, initially the idea of Film Criticism seemed strange.
Well, in your youth you blurted out the stupidity that you would make only 10 films. And for some reason you start to drive yourself into these frames and manipulate something. There is no way to just make a movie and get high from what you like ...
And so to be honest, even in quotation marks 9, the film looked very strained... The lightness was not felt , the pressure of the great 9th film of the director was felt
