Description
D'Artagnan, a spirited young Gascon, is left for dead after trying to save a noblewoman from being kidnapped. Once in Paris, he tries by all means to find his attackers, unaware that his quest will lead him to the very heart of a war where the future of France is at stake. Про каст я могу сказать только одно Анна с русыми волосами, а Миледи блондинка. Там уже вопрос кастерам. Очень сомневаюсь, что нет подходящих актрис.
ну и перебирая европейских актрис - да, на роль королевы Анны можно было было бы пригласить Virginie Efira, типаж тот же, но как по мне - чуток симпатишнее. И так уж получилось, что весь свет французского синематографа, Денёв, Аджани, Марсо, Бинош, Юпер - рождённые в 50-х, 60-х или начале 70-х, а из "молодых" - только вот стрёмная Леа Седу да и Летиция Каста с натяжкой. Потому и пригласили Еву Грин, так как она хотя бы наполовину француженка, а могли перекрасить в блонди и новоиспеченную француженку Куриленко )))

But this movie is also worth watching. Eva Green is certainly good.
But... This film shows the era well, everything is so gloomy, dirty, without excessive gloss. Again, the real France is the Louvre, monasteries, cathedrals. Very beautiful.
As for the plot, everything here should be perceived as an alternative story about other Musketeers, slightly based on Dumas. Only the names match, and there are a few problems in the plot, but they are solved in their own way. It is also interesting, but not according to the canon))
Of the cast, only Eva Green and Wessan Kassel are remembered, who here is so similar to our Boyarsky in some moments that you just start to believe in doppelgangers.
D'Artagnan is very nice, especially when he flirts with Constance, but I'm not sure that he will be remembered for a long time.
Aramis and Porthos have not been revealed at all yet.
In general, it's not bad, I'll watch the second part.
