And yes, the abstract is not entirely accurate, and it would be better not to describe the whole snag of the film in it.
Watch out for the spoiler!
She killed her father with the same gun that her father used to kill her stepfather. She's got a bullet in her leg from it. And a bunch of her prints on the trunk. Well, according to the classics, she will have to be imprisoned for murder. The reputation of the family is ruined, the generation of murderers is a plus. Why couldn't her husband be sent with her daughter somewhere to fly away for a while and she and the police develop a plan to catch her with bugs and sensors of some kind..
It's a meditative, measured movie, but I love it. There are strong moments.
I liked the way Ridley played.
