The story is the most banal, it has been filmed more than once, for sure, if anyone has not seen, then they have heard about the film "The Wolf of Wall Street", there are, of course, a few about something else, but the idea itself is similar - people go to anything for money. I don't want to say that this is just the state society corresponds to. Surely, if you dig around, there will be similar stories in any country with a capitalist system. And after all, the film directly mentions the company "Purdue Pharma", which thoroughly had a hand in the opioid crisis, but the rest (judging by the film) continue to step on this rake. Yes, they came up with a good sales scheme, yes, the drug really helps with pain, but then I wanted more and alas.. Emily Blunt, Chris Evans, and Andy Garcia, who played Dr. Neal, did a great job, for my taste. There is both enthusiasm and risk and an understanding of the consequences, but I have already seen all this more than once. And this secondariness somewhat spoils the impression. What now, will every actor consider it his duty to star in dramas where business is built at the expense of people's lives or well-being? And the participation of such sellers is very indirect, they have studies of the drug on their hands, it really helps, and as for overdoses, you can poison yourself to death with salt! Yes, it is not entirely ethical to bribe doctors to prescribe this particular drug, but this is the cost of the entire system, because otherwise many really good drugs will not stupidly reach the consumer, alas.. You can watch the movie, the drama is good, even if the situation is not new, but it's as you like.

@Gordey: the first half, or even 2/3 of the film - it was normal, and then naivety went... on the other hand, in the case of Purdue Pharma, there really were a lot of abuses, but here greed and incompetence are shown in a very stupid way against the background of the same naivety. But after the credits we are talking about INSYS

Overall, I liked the film, Emily Blunt and Catherine O'Hara are wonderful, the plot is lively. The movie is not bad for the evening)

The plot is not any new, as well as the style of shooting using interviews, but the film is not bad, the first 2/3 is very interesting to watch, but because of the beautiful picture and good actors, I still gave it 4.5/5
