Russell Crowe is The Chief Exorcist of The Vatican
The only thing that's really good here is Crowe. It's like he's been getting old all his life and dressing up , so that now it's so organic to fly into a cassock with two legs and look stupidly canonical and appropriate :)
And, if you think about it, then in general, even a small one played its role well, as it seems to me. Yes, and my sister was quite convincing in the frame. Which is also a plus .
It's just that somehow you watch some movie and the impression is created that here they tried, here they tried straight (but it didn't work out very well) , here they got stuck on something bigger, and here it would have been even frankly cool, but the budget was not enough .
In this case, after viewing, it seems that the film simply did not strain to give out the norm..like everything, guys, Hare, worked out lava :)
It does not seem that somewhere they did not catch up , somewhere there was still potential , and somewhere they even set it for the future . Formally, they certainly said that there are almost two hundred more potential exorcisms , but it doesn't look like it's just a cast of fishing rods for the future.
Plus, it's worth remembering that the film tells about a real-life person and you can always assume that it was filmed as a tribute to the memory of this person. In this case, all questions are generally unnecessary.
I really hope that we will not have to take into account any Astral figures with this film and there will not be 100,500 parts, do not understand what's next. Otherwise, it will really be possible to rebel and ask questions about laundering lava at these jobs.
This franchise has only five parts in thirteen years. Of these , the first two parts are just very good (purely my subjective opinion), the second two parts are just normal . The fifth , judging by the trailer, will be a direct continuation of the first two parts, which is as pleasing and hopeful as possible.
For me, there would be more such strong films as the first two parts of the astral plane . Yes , and the third and fourth are just average, but I would not say that they are already bad.
P.S. An important remark . The Astral franchise has five films: Astral (2010), Astral. Part 2 (2013), Astral. Part 3 (2015). Astral The Last Key (2018), Astral Red Doors (2023). Everything that is not these films is a sick imagination of all sorts of marketers from the exhibition (or who comes up with names for rental , there are several offices there) . All sorts of Astral brats.The saga.Anabolics and so on))) these films have nothing to do with the franchise .

And if the first two parts can be called good, then it turns out that 3 and 4 are well normal. I just what this remark decided to do ISO for me it was always clear and obvious that Astral is several times smaller than naadaptirovali and iskoverkali for cinemas, but literally last month with surprise discovered that it turns out that there are people who really thought that the Astral has so many parts (how many films there so adapted , probably about twenty pieces exactly ahaha or I myself pieces I probably watched five of them, well, except for the real four parts) . Just somehow caught the conversation for the fact that for nothing from the ASTRAL 1 and 2 made then a wild stream of movies, which in an hour for two or even three came out . Yes, my God, there's no hiding it, I myself just a couple of weeks ago also fell for the name Sinister.The beginning" and I watched this miracle of cinema really thinking that it was a prequel out. And then I burned myself out even longer that I hadn't read the information about the film in advance and was waiting for something from a film that had nothing to do with the franchise at all))

Only there at least mockbasters are real films that parasitize more successful films . Actually, the Sinister prequel (like the ahaha prequel) also worked out, the Westerners there made the cover very very very similar to the first one from the original, and ours attributed the name and it all flew out. And then the chic sparkle in the pop crackle and the rating of the film is below 4 out of 10))))
About mockbusters, of course, this is always a controversial topic.. in my opinion, they have a place to be, but please let them be at least normal, and not understand how they were made on your knee.

Not the worst movie of the others in this subject. The shooting is ok, the picture is ok, the story is +/- revealed.
In my opinion, there are several moments of overkill (rubber stretched mouths, a bloody explosion of the body), but it will go for a one-time evening viewing) I will also be waiting for the sequel ✨
Gabriel Amorta looked amazing and appropriate in the frames of this film. I assign an extra point for the red socks 😁✨
Overall, the film is decent, especially the beginning, I did not regret that I did not buy the negative reviews and decided to watch it myself, but the final battle slightly let me down.
