Description
A story of love and life among the landed English gentry during the Georgian era. Mr. Bennet is a gentleman living in Hertfordshire with his overbearing wife and five daughters, but if he dies their house will be inherited by a distant cousin whom they have never met, so the family's future happiness and security is dependent on the daughters making good marriages.
Mom of course teaches in the movie.
I'm sorry I didn't read the novel before watching it. Such an eloquent film, I will definitely read it later.
As a result, I went to read reviews on kinopoisk and came across a girl who wrote that if you are interested in the film adaptation of the novel, then it's better to watch the 1995 TV series of the same name with Colin Firth. And God, how grateful I am to her for this advice. As a film adaptation, the series came out ten times better than the film. It's a shame that people associate this movie more with the book than the series.
In general, if we evaluate the film as an adaptation of the novel, then it is terrible.
If we evaluate it as a separate work, then we can say that the film is good, light and beautiful.
But if you are looking for a film adaptation of the book of the same name, then it's better to look at the beautiful and young Colin Firth in the 1995 TV series Pride and Prejudice.
This is an amazing film adaptation, yes, not everything looks like what Austin writes, but where have you seen at least one film that completely repeated the book, there are simply no such.
In general, I love this movie, it was shot smartly, the actors play smartly, the music is gorgeous.
I review it 3 times a year for sure💗
— In that case, it is better not to joke with you. It's a pity, because I'm terribly funny. ©
Just yesterday I watched the movie and couldn't tear myself away, and even this dialogue has sunk into my soul this time! It seems to me that no matter how many times I watched it, the emotions are still the same. Says Mrs. Bennet, and I'm ashamed, as well as the eternal laughter of the younger sisters, it's just a nightmare. Elizabeth's conversation with her father when she says she really loves, and this scene with the hand when Darcy helped Lizzie up!
I love both the book and this movie, but I won't get to the series in any way. But I'm sure he'll make a good impression on me too.
And I also went and watched the cut scene at the end, when Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy were sitting on their balcony. Uvvvv, so good at heart. 🥺
I can't remember how many times I've already reviewed it.
Mr. Darcy is so proud and unsociable, and then he becomes such an awkward milah next to her😊Those fleeting glances... Oh. Great.
The landscapes are very beautiful. Kira is great.
