But "The Scream " turned out to be an exception from such.
The plot is twisted perfectly. It keeps you in suspense from the first second to the end. Skillfully confuses the viewer, without giving the opportunity to guess who the killer is until the end. It is also well thought out by the fact that it contains references to many other films.
in general, I recommend every fan of horror and detective stories to watch.

I watched a "Very scary movie" after that, because the first half was a wild deja vu, I subconsciously waited for some kind of joke, since it was almost an exact copy of the "Very scary movie" in the visual series. But the ending about 2 psychopathic friends became clearer and more interesting, and I thought Dew would be guilty, as in USC, but he broke off, which is even nice.
Nevertheless, I liked the ending at USC more than in the first Scream. If I hadn't watched USC, I think the impression of the film would have been better.

It took me a very long time to get around to watching, but now everything has coincided so well. A week later, part 7 goes to the cinema, and you only need to watch 6 movies, one movie every day and normally. But before that, I watched a Very scary movie, and I really don't understand why they decided to shoot a parody of a parody, and in some moments almost frame-by-frame. But that's not the point. Harvey Dent once said: "Either you die a hero, or you live until you become a villain."
The scream didn't die. And he became a villain. He became someone he despised. It's kind of a shame.

The film was originally conceived with a bit of humor and satire, and this is a very big plus. It's easy to watch, and all sorts of nonsense and absurdities don't annoy as much as in boring, serious and pretentious genre brothers. 30 years after its release and after repeated revisions, the first "Scream" does not become obsolete, captivates and keeps you in suspense.
