A very good fantasy action movie with an interesting idea and an unexpected plot twist at the end.

This is an excellent cyberpunk thriller and, perhaps, it is the only one in modern cinema. The plot may seem a little primitive at first, but towards the end you realize that there is something to think about. I would like to note the original shooting (third-person camera) and literally mechanical robo-movements of the main character under the influence of a chip. This is more likely to be true than he would move as usual. These and many other details are thought out even too well for such a film, which gives it a lot of points. It was interesting to watch the detective component and the denouement turned out to be strong.

I accidentally found out about this movie while I was watching a review of Venom from a Nostalgic critic. He said that Venom should have been like that and advised to watch the Upgrade. I didn't expect the movie to be SO good! He surprised me very pleasantly. Everything: shooting, colors, acting are very cool! All the small details like his robot movements, just the only thing, there were predictable moments, but they are not critical. In short, if you haven't watched it yet, then I advise you not to delay it))
