Exactly one year after young rock guitarist Eric Draven and his fiancée are brutally killed by a ruthless gang of criminals, Draven, watched over by a hypnotic crow, returns from the grave to exact revenge.
We continue the theme of difficult filming — seven more movies whose creation was accompanied by accidents, breakdowns, too dangerous stunts, and situations when studios seriously considered closing the project. These films seem like familiar classics, but behind them are stories of real production hell.

Classics and legends. One of my favorite movies. But one of a kind, there is nothing to compare it with. Also shrouded in such mysticism. The other day we watched the trailer for the new raven 24 years old😭 I don't understand why it was necessary to make a remake at all. It seems to me that this is almost the only film that absolutely does not need it! And it also sucks, judging by the trailer.
The film is based on a comic book by James O'Barr and on its set there was a fatal accident with the lead actor Brandon Lee. Maybe because of this, the film became a cult film, although, to my taste, it was shot stylishly, interestingly and atmospherically. Again, an excellent soundtrack, good actors, downhole action — all this is also present in the film. And the actors played very well. After him, they shot a couple more sequels and a series with Mark Dacascas, but they all came out much weaker than the original. It's not the first time I've reviewed it, and it certainly won't be the last. With a budget of a modest fifteen million, the film grossed almost a hundred and, probably, it's not just like that. Brandon Lee played just great, and the script is sane, without strong logical failures. I just didn't quite understand — was police Detective Torres, played by Marco Rodriguez, aware of all the gangsters' dealings and covered for them, or was he just such a jerk in life? Somehow I didn't catch this moment. Michael Wincott also looks very stylish and menacing, a bit like Antonio Banderos from "Interview with the Vampire", of course, with his hairstyle, but also with his behavior, although he is not so sinister. A great movie, which over time still looks great!
I watched the movie a couple of days ago for the first time. I liked it. Very. Gorgeous! And then I went to see a movie remake with Skarsgard. People! If you suddenly decide to do the same as me, don't do it! This is a fiasco, bro! And then I'm talking about the remake and about my decision to watch it, because I won't come to my senses soon from such a noble stool😂
A movie that got into the heart and will stay there forever. I regret that I postponed the viewing for so long. Brandon is amazing. It's a pity that this happened to him. I'm sure he would have a great future ahead of him. 😔
I haven't watched this movie in my time. And I don't think I've lost anything. It was shot in a gothic comic book style, in Batman style. There were quite a few such films in the 90s. And this movie was one of the first, that's why it became a cult film. As it is, there is nothing outstanding in acting or directing. The new Raven with Skarsgard is almost a complete remake of this movie or comic book. At least in terms of plot.
a cult film, a classic of Gothic and a comic book about a Raven. we remember our youth, in the 90s the film looked like some kind of ordinary action movie) we plan to watch the entire franchise, and especially the 4th film.
And he's one of the best. As written above, legendary)
Love from the first viewing in childhood and revised more than once
This pain and desire for revenge
Dark atmosphere
How well everything is done
I love this movie

Even now, 30 years later, the film looks great.
