— Cold in here?
PS People talking about the gay agenda - yes, it exists, but it is well played out, one of the main conflicts is based on it, and in general 98% of the time it does not concern you in any way. If you appreciate narrow staples so much, then watch soyuzmultfilm) I'm sure this is just for you!
by the way, the comic was also wonderful (it was with him that I began to get acquainted with these works), but here the ending smiled more <3
And yes, the shark dance can be reviewed forever.😅
It is a pity that this film did not receive wider publicity! I will definitely advise everyone!
the authors of this cartoon made a brilliant move by setting events in steampunk, the viewer already has a dissonance at the beginning - we see flying cars and knights, they built huge walls and laser cannons around their kingdom for a thousand years, but they never asked what was so terrible behind them, and the fact that the main character is gay, just The cherry on the cake is that they are loyal to same-sex relationships, but they are scared of a girl. I thought at least such contradictions would make people think a little, but as the census of commentators above showed, who saw "a good plot spoiled by a subpoena" - even a pointer in the forehead did not reach them. it was like saying an apple was delicious, but I was surprised that it smelled like an apple.
what else can I say about the villains in such films, I terribly miss that the negative characters are not 100% pure evil, and at least at the last moment they realized that all their ideals are far from reality, showed flexibility of mind and took responsibility for their actions.
Bright, interesting, unusual!
10 whales out of 10 😁
It's WOW, to show our society like this, the system that is around us.
There is one scene with that little girl who accepts Nimona when she literally comes out of the shadows (coming out) and the girl does not see anything terrible in this, since she is a child, she does not have these imposed beliefs about monsters, she sees the same child in front of her. And she raises her sword against Nimona just when those very adults say that Nimona is NOT normal. After it was based on these beliefs about monsters, they made a cult out of the child, carving out of her a symbol of the fight against monsters. Fight against " Invisible enemies" who will definitely ruin the poor kingdom and kill everyone... Fucked up, apparently we also live in such a state)
I will definitely look again
The moment where she stands next to the mega strong statue
, are you serious? people have cybercars and lasers in their dreams, but gays cannot be among these beauties in a fictional world. Let's be clear, an agenda is when a film exists with one stupid purpose - to extol minorities, as if they are a priori good people. If that were the case, then the film could not exist without gays. however, if we hypothetically imagine the whole plot, replacing Ambrosius with... Ambrosia, then nothing will change at all. You should also look at the fact that the founder of knighthood is a woman or the director of the knightly institute is a woman.
★3.5/5
everything is ok cool. It's cool that new animation methods allow you to make cartoons, so to speak, on a level, even with much smaller budgets and scales than those of large studios. If there's a sequel, I'd love to watch it. nothing super-great, but it looks very nice, I recommend it.

ㅤ Nimona 's animation is extremely enjoyable . Smooth, dynamic, somewhat reminiscent of an Arcane game with all these stakes and a very appropriate, rebellious audio accompaniment.
All the central characters are just sweethearts. Nimona herself, Bal, Ambrosius – it feels like they are real people with their own problems. Catching the plot only in fragments and without reading the original source, I was very happy when I found out that the Ball is not a typical villain who acts villainously just for the sake of villainy. It's a nice plot twist for me.
I really want to note that I liked the world - building of this cartoon. Knights crossed with futuristic technology. Yes, Shrek has already done something similar, but Nimona's world still has its own unique vibe.
ㅤmultfilm will clearly be included in the list of my favorites and it will need to be shown and watched with all my friends/acquaintances/family who want to watch it with me . 1 hour and 20 minutes per movie was an extremely small portion. :)
