Description
Alex, an assassin-for-hire, finds that he's become a target after he refuses to complete a job for a dangerous criminal organization. With the crime syndicate and FBI in hot pursuit, Alex has the skills to stay ahead, except for one thing: he is struggling with severe memory loss, affecting his every move. Alex must question his every action and whom he can ultimately trust.
Because of the average ratings, I did not dare to look earlier, but I was not disappointed in the end. In some places, I predicted the course of action, but this did not spoil the aftertaste from watching ✨
A typical plot, a typical movie about an assassin. At the same time, there are a lot of omissions, absurdities and other things. The motivation of the main character is so vague that it just kills. He knows where he is going, he has seen the case, he has seen the details, but when he sees the girl, morality wakes up in him. He absolutely must understand that she will be killed, but leaves her in place and so on. The film is just filled with such moments.
And it would be fine if there was a good action game worth watching, but it's not here either. There are 3-4 scenes in the whole film, it's difficult to call them particularly entertaining.
Looking at the film, there are elements that are much better executed in others. If you want to remember blackouts, the movie is literally built on this, it's not clear why you need it. If you want to talk about the problems of the border with Mexico, there is "Sicario". Well, about children, I think there are also quite a few. They just picked up interesting images right there, without revealing any of them. If Liam hadn't been in the lead roles, it's unlikely that anyone would have needed this film at all
P.S. Google gave it out as one of the best films of 2022
