Description
Martin Blank is a hitman for hire. When he starts to develop a conscience, he botches a couple of routine jobs. On the advice of his secretary and his psychiatrist, he decides to attend his ten-year high school reunion in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
- No, no, no. Psychopaths kill for no reason. I kill for money, it's a job... No, that doesn't sound right. Let's look at it from the other side. If I show up on your doorstep, chances are you did something that brought me here."
+ 1 in the piggy bank of movies that I love, even though I shouldn't. The Cusack family is being played as if the script makes sense. Dan Aykroyd plays like he's tasting his crystal clear vodka between takes. Not a film, but an undeservedly forgotten pearl of postmodernism (albeit rather ridiculous).
