I'm not talking about the Russian title, but the film turned out to be quite good. A chamber horror film, qualitatively shot, but with a rotten ending, unfortunately.

It's more of a psychological thriller than a horror. There are interesting solutions in some places, but there would be enough material for a short film. However, the film has one undeniable plus: I really want to sleep after it, just what I need in the evening.

Naturally, this Irish film has nothing to do with the "Claustrophobic" franchise, but our localizers, if they see people indoors or people playing "quest", always come up with a name with the word "Claustrophobic". Well, you must agree, because "Double Blind" - "Double blind" sounds absolutely nothing! In fact, the film is immeasurably stupid from a scientific point of view, and logic did not spend the night there at all. Director Ian Hunt-Duffy had previously shot some short films and this can be seen from individual episodes, which are very good, but the overall picture does not add up, the narrative is too uneven. Screenwriter Darah McGarrigle also wrote only a couple of short films, which Hunt-Duffy shot. In general, both are beginners and one cannot play full meter, and the other cannot play logic. At the same time, it would be fine to go into science, he fell asleep with terms there and will go, but even his elementary logic malfunctions, which is internal. Therefore, it seems interesting to watch at first, and then the face begins to hurt noticeably from facepalms. I do not recommend watching, you will only waste your time and take away your face..

And I watched it, and I liked it, and I was wondering how it would end. If you close your eyes to the obviously stupidest adaptation of the name, then it is quite a watchable psychedelic.

It's not an interesting movie at all, and yes, it has nothing to do with claustrophobia.

I would say that our adapters again did an AMAZING job with the name, but everything has been said above more than once.

The film is far from horror, and certainly does not relate to the Claustrophobic series in any way. But for once, it's quite possible to take a look.

Fellow citizens, a suggestion: our distributors will not give up on their amazing marketing for all occasions. Just the other day I watched the Italian movie Claustrophobia. The beginning of", as little related to the original franchise as this one. We already know all this and are used to it. We already know and not only we:
After a month of rental in Russia, the horror "Omen. Immaculate" (Immaculate) attracted attention (https://twitter.com/michaelmohan/status/1781158139850838433 ) Michael Mohan, the director of the film.
"Damn it. Am I reading this correctly? Our Russian distributor changed the name of the film to "Omen. Immaculate"?"."
If this is the case, I suggest that you perceive and use these headers as tags, as well as implement a search for the corresponding tags on all streaming services and online cinemas. You can go further and rename all films that were released even before the appearance of franchise tags suitable for them (eg. the film The Room of Fear (2002) -> Claustrophobia. The room of fear).
By the same logic, any film related to the coming of the devil in the guise of a child can be attributed to the Omen franchise, any film about a group of lost travelers to a wrong Turn, etc. (which is what happens). Join the initiative and together we will beat the distributors on their own field!

Oh, yes, about the movie... As Gordey correctly noted, its weaknesses lie in a lack of integrity and internal logic. This is especially felt (and at the same time partly due to) the absence of a tangible threat. Meanwhile, the plot rushes from side to side trying to find a continuation, towards the end one twist is replaced by another every 3-5 minutes (which rather saves the film, otherwise it would be impossibly boring). The cast is acceptable, the characters of the characters are revealed quite interestingly and individual scenes are qualitatively staged. Something reminded me of an experiment. The office, which should now be renamed Claustrophobic. Office". Suitable for fans of films about a group of people in a confined space (#claustrophobia). Thanks for attention.
