Chebi: My Fluffy Friend 2 (2026)

You know, it turned out quite well, at the level of the first part. Such a kind family film about eternal values. There was laughter in the audience, and at the end, many people wiped away a tear that everything had ended well. It's a funny idea with a parrot. Almost all the characters are familiar, from the first part, only one new face is remembered (the parrot does not count). Lots of tangerines, sweets and greenery pleasing to the eye. Of course, a lot of things are very conditional and not plausible, but like a movie about Cheburashka, which is not real from the very beginning. The gene was made more clearly a crocodile. Cheburashka is cute, but people with young children will definitely understand the Gene, sometimes you need to have iron nerves.

In the end, the promise is to meet other Cheburashkas in January 2027.

Cheburashka 2 is a cynical conveyor product that mocks the memory of the original. The script is primitive to the point of insult: Cheburashka has turned from a mysterious animal into an annoying toy with flat jokes, and Gene into a walking meme. New characters (the cartoon villain, the squirrel influencer) only fill the void of a meaningless plot.
The visuals are acidic and overloaded with CGI, devoid of magic, and the music boils down to annoying remixes of an old theme. The film openly exploits nostalgia, without bringing any mind, no heart, or even high-quality entertainment.
Bottom line: a creatively bankrupt sequel, after which you want to forget about its existence and review the good old cartoon.

A wonderful fairy tale! I liked the second movie even more than the first one. I got into a personal mood as well: not only did I shed tears at the end, but I quietly cried four times during the session. Sincerely, with kind, intelligent humor, understandable to children and adults.

If the first film was based on a Soviet cartoon and it turned out to be kind, touching, and soulful, then the plot of the second film was invented from scratch and it turned out not as a fairy tale, but more like an adventure fantasy film.
