Adam's Apples (2005)

I sincerely love this movie. An incredibly atmospheric painting that combines black humor and philosophical reflections on faith, redemption and human nature. The film expertly balances between drama and comedy. The acting is at the highest level (especially Mads Mikkelsen and Ulrich Thomsen).
I recommend it to anyone who is looking for something non-standard and memorable, the movie leaves behind a bright aftertaste.

Anders Thomas Jenson with his "Knights of Justice" (2020) got into my very heart, so I've been planning to watch his earlier film for a long time - "Adam's Apples" (2005) with the same cast (Mads Mikkelsen, hello again). Somewhere in the comments I came across a review in the style of "the sweetest trash" (personally, after watching it, I wanted to bake an apple pie!). And there really is a lot of trash: fights, shooting at people, racism, gas station robbery - and this is not the whole set of incidents that, as in the joke, happen to a priest, a thief, an alcoholic and a neo-Nazi (such a company has chosen).
