Description
Withdrawn and sensitive teen Carrie White faces taunting from classmates at school and abuse from her fanatically pious mother. When strange occurrences start happening around Carrie, she begins to suspect that she has supernatural powers.
A very suitable actress has been selected, unlike a relatively recent film with Moretz.
But in the remake, Tommy and Carrie's relationship was better revealed. They had at least some kind of connection there and he really sympathized with her. And then, "you praised my poems that I didn't even write" and kisses her with no fucking way. What? It looked really like a billet for harassment, not sincere sympathy.
Well, the scene of mom's death looks moronic. When she remained standing, pierced with knives, without even hanging on her hands (although a knife in the palm of her hand would not have held her), she stands stupidly with a straight back damn. Well, when Carrie dragged her into the closet, it was clear that the actress was kicking her legs. We could have shot it higher, well, really
The fanaticism of the Mother is amazing, which was so accurately conveyed, of course, not without the excellent skill of the actress.
The film does not let you get bored, the musical accompaniment in key episodes beckons you to bite your lip with anticipation and even fear.
It's not the first time I've watched it, and it definitely won't be the last.
And, of course, how charming is Sissy Spacek, who plays Carrie...
– They give me pimples, Mom.
– The Lord punishes you with pimples so that you keep chastity. Eat it.
