Hulu has revealed a teaser for "The Artful Dodger" series based on "Oliver Twist"
The project will explore the adult life of Jack Dawkins, played by Thomas Brodie-Sangster.
Hulu presented a teaser trailer of the series "The Artful Dodger" — "irreverent" continuation of the novel "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens. The online movie theater also revealed the poster of the new project.
The poster depicts Jack Dawkins, better known as The Artful Dodger. The action of the show develops in Australia in the 1850s, when Jack has already grown up. Now he does not steal, but works as a surgeon. But the past returns with the criminal Fagin, who lures Jack into the world of crime.
The main role in the series was played by Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and together with him in the show starred David Thewlis, Maia Mitchell, and Tim Minchin.
"The Artful Dodger" will premiere on November 29. The first season will have eight episodes.
It's interesting to see Thomas Brody-Sangster as a former thief and current surgeon.
