"Castlevania: Nocturne" will get a second season

Netflix has renewed the animated series "Castlevania: Nocturne" for a second season a week after the first season — the release of all episodes of the debut installment took place on September 28. The renewal was announced with a short teaser.

"Nocturne" — spin-off "Castlevania". The action of the project develops several hundred years after the end of the fourth season of the original show. The series tells about Richter Belmont — the descendant of Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades, who also became a vampire hunter. He needs to track down and defeat a ruthless and power-hungry "vampire messiah".

Within the first five days of its release, "Nocturne" hit the top 10 of all Netflix English-language projects and was also in the top 10 in 40 countries.
