Max has unveiled the trailer for the second season of the dramedy "Julia," based on the story of Julia Child, chef and host of the legendary cooking program "The French Chef".
The first season of the series from "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" producer Daniel Goldfarb was about the creation of Julia's TV show, which she managed to launch despite opposition from male TV executives. In the end, "The French Chef" program essentially invented the cooking show format for television.
In season two, Julia and Paul return home to find that everything has changed. Julia (played once again by Sarah Lancashire) will have to cope with her growing fame and how it affects her, her coworkers and her show.
The series will return on November 16 — Max will air three episodes at once on that day. There will be a total of eight episodes in the second season.
