The movie "The Third Extra" will premiere on January 11.

Peacock has released the debut teaser for the "Ted" series, a prequel to Seth MacFarlane's comedy "Ted". MacFarlane worked on the series: he acted as a writer, director, and showrunner, as well as voiced the main role.

The action of the project will develop in 1993. Ted the talking bear lives in Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett, and his relatives. Ted spends a lot of time with John and probably influences him badly, but in a difficult moment he is always ready to come to the rescue — after all, they are friends.

The project will premiere on January 11, 2024: on that day all seven episodes of the series will appear on Peacock.

I hope the jokes will be like a movie and a worthy satire

Most likely, it will be because of a 16-year-old boy and about love...

I don't know. The movie was about an adult dude with a little childish problems. It's going to be puberty here... well such

I would like jokes and stuff like in movies, but the series will be more neutral, we thought about how to make a series about Ted, but so that no one would be offended by jokes, no one would condemn, and so on, and came up with a prequel to films where Ted has not yet had time to completely vulgarize and storchat)
But we still look and believe Peacock can make a good fit.

MacFarlane needs to surpass himself in humor in order to get at least average ratings in such a framework
