The "Squid Game: The Challenge" reality show contestants plan to sue Netflix
Two contestants of "Squid Game: The Challenge", a reality show inspired by the Korean TV series "Squid Game", are threatening to sue Netflix and the project's producers. They claim they suffered hypothermia as well as nerve damage during filming.
The contestants were injured during the filming of the "The quieter you go, the further you reach" trial. At the time, the UK was hit by a sudden cold snap and three players required medical attention as they had to remain immobile for long periods of time in freezing temperatures in order to win.
Reports of unsafe conditions on the set of "Challenge" are not the first time: in February, an independent inspection was conducted on the set of the reality show. It was conducted by the British organization Health and Safety Executive, which advised producers to better plan for risks, but in the end found no violations and decided that further action is not required.
In the reality show "Squid Game: The Challenge" players compete by completing various tasks based on children's games. The show has 456 players, and the winner is promised $4.56 million, the largest cash prize in the history of TV reality show.

PS. Speaking of the disabled people involved in your comment below: they did it voluntarily with the basis of legislative equality. That is, they had to participate on equal terms, without concessions. And sign the same agreements, without exceptions.
it seems that I am on the side of a huge corporation for the first time, and these participants are compensated by a free revision of the series. Give them millions, and warm them up. Frozen - get out of the test, so it didn't pass, it means weak and not worthy of the prize. What is the fun of testing in comfort to pass?
Им нечего терять, подумаешь не выиграл 4 ляма нечего страшного.
