The first footage of the "Fallout" series starring Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins has surfaced

The show from the writers of "Westworld" will begin airing next April.

Variety has revealed the first footage of the TV series "Fallout" — a new Amazon Prime Video project based on the computer game series of the same name. The photo showed the main characters of the show, the roles played by Walton Goggins, Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, and Aaron Clifton Moten.

The action of the series will unfold in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles of the future. To protect themselves from radiation, mutants, and bandits, ordinary citizens are forced to live in underground bunkers. The project will tell about the inhabitants of one of these bunkers — Sanctuary 33.

Creators of the series are Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy (both from "Westworld"), and showrunners are Graham Wagner ("Silicon Valley") and Geneva Robertson-Dworet ("Captain Marvel").

The first episode of the project will air on April 12, 2024.

There are four full-fledged numbered parts, plus New Vegas (well, the same Brotherhood of Steel, and even Fallout 76 with some Fallout: Shelter), which have been released for a quarter of a century. Each has its own plot, its own characters, its own style, gameplay presentation (the same isometry or first-person view). Each player has his own Follich. The plot of the series will obviously be based on motives. Well, maybe there will be more references to parts 3 and 4, as far as I understand. So I would perceive the series as another story from this world, which you can watch as you exit, and I would play when it's convenient.

@HungryChicken: At least Jonathan Nolan said he loved Fallout and hung out for many hours in it. In general, considering how Nolan and his wife forgot about the Wild West World while doing a new TV series (and they started to get distracted by it a long time ago), it is clear that for them this is, if not a dream project, then very close.

I'm personally a fan of the first two parts, but the third one didn't come to me because of the interface change.. I didn't play the fourth game at all. But of course I'll watch the series! It will be interesting to see what they will wind up there
