Timothy Olyphant will star in the "Alien" series
Noah Hawley, the showrunner of "Fargo", is developing the project, with Ridley Scott serving as producer.
Timothy Olyphant ("Justified") has joined the cast of FX's series "Alien," a prequel to Ridley Scott's sci-fi franchise. Olyphant will star in the project alongside Sydney Chandler ("Pistol").
According to rumors, Olyphant will play Kirsch, a synthetic and mentor to Sydney Chandler's character, who will embody the image of a hybrid and meta-human with the body of an adult but the mind of a child. Other plot details of the series have not yet been revealed.
The project is being developed by Noah Hawley, showrunner of "Fargo" and "Legion", and Ridley Scott serves as executive producer of the series. The show will resume filming in January 2024.
