The third season of "The Bear" will be released in June

FX channel head John Landgraf has announced that the third season of the dramedy "The Bear" starring Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri will be released this June. Landgraf did not give an exact premiere date, but confirmed that all episodes of the new season will again air on the same day.

In the storyline, young chef Carmi Bersatto returns to her native Chicago to run her family's diner. Carmi is away from the world he's used to and has to cope with challenges previously unfamiliar to him: the harsh realities of small business ownership, an unruly staff, and family complications.

"The Bear" proved to be a huge success for the FX channel. The show's first season won ten statuettes at last month's Emmy Awards — including for best comedy series.
