Amazon has revealed the trailer for the fourth season of "The Boys"
Amazon Prime Video has released a teaser trailer for the fourth season of the TV series "The Boys", which is set to premiere next year.
The video showed fresh footage of the show's sequel, and also introduced the hero Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("Supernatural", "The Walking Dead"), who joined the cast of the project. Judging by the trailer, he played a friend of Butcher.
"The Boys" tells about a world in which superheroes are commonplace. However, they are far from being as exemplary as they try to seem: they drink, debauchery, kill people — and all this without problems getting away with it. To fight them, a team of ordinary people was created — "The Boys", headed by a surly British Butcher. Each kid has his own reason to hate the supers, but they are united by a desire to expose the members of the "Seven" and bring them to justice.
Anthony Starr, Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Claudia Doumit, and Jensen Ackles have all returned to their roles in the new episodes. In the fourth season, Homelander will become more powerful and influential, while Butcher, on the other hand, will lose everything: his son, his job as the leader of "The Boys" and even his life, as he only has a few months to live. But the stakes are as high as ever, and "The Boys" will have to learn to forgive and work together to save the world before it's too late.
