Amazon Prime Video has announced the premiere date of the fourth season of the series "The Boys": the first three episodes of the new part of the comedy action movie will be released on June 13, and further episodes will be released weekly. Total in the fourth chapter will be eight series.
"The Boys" tells about a world in which superheroes are commonplace. However, they are far from being as exemplary as they try to seem: they drink, debauchery, kill people — and all this without problems getting away with it. To fight them, a team of ordinary people was created — "The Boys", headed by a surly British Butcher. Each kid has his own reason to hate the supers, but they are united by a desire to expose the members of the "Seven" and bring them to justice.
In the fourth season Homelander will strengthen his power, and Butcher, who has only a few months to live, on the contrary, will lose everything. The rest of the team is fed up with his lies, but when the stakes are so high, they will have to learn to work together to save the world before it's too late.
It's likely that a fifth season of "The Boys" is already in the works: the industry website Production List posted a start date for filming the sequel — April 8. However, this information has not yet been confirmed by Prime Video, which has not announced the series' renewal for a new season.
