"An enemy is at our gates": the trailer for the second season of the "Halo" series has been released
Paramount+ has released the debut trailer for the second season of "Halo", based on the game series of the same name. The trailer also announced the show's return date, which will be February 8.
The series is about the confrontation between humanity and the alien threat known as Covenant. Humans are losing, and their last hope is the SPARTAN-II project, which is dedicated to creating super soldiers. The Covenant manages to find and destroy almost all of the fighters, but one ship does escape. On it is Master Chief, who is now responsible for saving humanity.
In the second season, Master Chief finds out that the war is about to change and the Covenant is preparing to attack the main stronghold of humanity. Master Chief sets out to find the Halo — the key to saving humanity or its extinction.
In the second season of the project changed showrunner: now this post is held by David Wiener, known for the series "Brave New World" and "Fear the Walking Dead". Also, the cast of the series was added two actors: Joseph Morgan ("The Originals") andCristina Rodlo ("No One Gets Out Alive") joined the show. Morgan will play James Akerson, a formidable spy serving in the secretive Office of Naval Intelligence. Rodlo will play the role of Talia Perez, a corporal specializing in linguistics who has yet to see actual combat.
