Ellen Pompeo returns to Grey-Sloan in a teaser for the new season of "Grey's Anatomy"

The actress will appear in a cameo role.

ABC has released a teaser for the 20th season of the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy", featuring an appearance by Ellen Pompeo, who stars as Meredith Grey.

Meredith began her career at Seattle Grace Hospital as an intern, then became a resident, then an attending surgeon, and ended her career as the head of the surgical department. In season 19, Meredith decided to move to Boston, leaving Seattle and her beloved clinic behind. However, Meredith will still return next season, but Ellen Pompeo will now only appear sporadically on the show.

"Grey's Anatomy" is about Seattle Grace Hospital, which was later renamed Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital. The hospital became a second home for its employees: here they not only treat patients, but also make friends, fall in love, and solve personal problems.

The series will return with a new season on March 14.
