Mandy Patinkin and Violett Beane investigate a murder in the trailer for the detective drama "Death and Other Details"

Hulu has released a trailer of a new detective series "Death and Other Details", starring Mandy Patinkin ("Homeland") and Violett Beane ("Truth or Dare").

The plot will center on Imogene Scott, who, along with a friend, goes on a Mediterranean cruise on a huge liner. When the trip is interrupted by the death of one of the travelers, restless Imogene, who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, becomes the main suspect. To prove her innocence, the girl will have to cooperate with the one she despises — Rufus Cotesworth, the world's greatest detective.

The showrunners of the project are Mike Weiss and Heidi Cole McAdams, who previously worked on "Stumptown". The first two episodes of the show will be released on Hulu on January 16. The show will have a total of ten episodes.
