An adaptation of Trent Dalton's novel of the same name, set in Brisbane in 1985. Twelve-year-old Eli Bell has an unusual family: a drug-addicted mother, a drug-dealing stepfather, a mute brother and an ex-convict as a babysitter. Eli is just trying to follow his heart and figure out what it means to be a good person, but fate keeps putting obstacles in his way. When his mom goes to prison, the boy will have to face the father he doesn't remember, rescue his mom, come face to face with the criminals who ruined his life, and meet the girl of his dreams.

A prequel to Seth MacFarlane's "Ted" films about a talking bear named Ted. The series will be set in 1993, when Ted lives in Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett, and his relatives. Ted spends a lot of time with John and is probably a bad influence on him, but in a difficult moment he is always ready to come to the rescue — after all, they are friends.
