Daredevil and Kingpin reminisce about the past in a fresh teaser for "Echo"
Marvel has released another teaser for the superhero series "Echo", showing footage from the new show as well as from "Daredevil", a Marvel project on Netflix.
In 2022, the studio officially confirmed that the events of Daredevil are part of the canon of the movie universe, and the main character of the show, played by Charlie Cox, has already taken part in other Marvel projects: for example, in the movie "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and the series "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law". Daredevil and Kingpin (played again by Vincent D'Onofrio) will play an important role in the upcoming "Echo" as well.
In the story, crime boss Kingpin pursues deaf superheroine Maya (Alaqua Cox), whom he met as a little girl and took in as a foster child, depriving her of her family before doing so. Maya then managed to leave Kingpin, but now the girl is forced to return home and come to terms with her past.
The show will consist of five episodes that will air on Disney+ on January 9.
