CBS is working on a spin-off of the series "Young Sheldon"
The series "Young Sheldon" is coming to an end, but the franchise will live on: CBS is going to order a spin-off of the project, which will tell about Georgie, Sheldon's older brother, and his fiancée Mandy.
In "Young Sheldon", their roles were played by Montana Jordan and Emily Osment. Although negotiations with the actors have not yet been finalized, they are expected to return in the new series as well.
In the storyline, Georgie Cooper dropped out of high school and got a job at a laundromat, where he met Mandy. She was 29 at the time and he was only 17, but he lied about being 21. Mandy eventually found out the truth, but by then she and Georgie were already expecting a baby. In the season six finale, they got engaged.
The new spin-off is being developed by Steve Holland, Steven Molaro, and Chuck Lorre, the executive producers of the original. They will also write the show's first episode, and in total, Deadline reports that CBS is set to order 13 episodes.

And in general, it's crazy, if you think about it
There are so many options out there...
It would be possible to make so many references to Sheldon!
And there was a writers' strike for this? To write a spin-off spin-off?
