Guy Ritchie will direct a "Ray Donovan" spin-off

Paramount+ has ordered a spin-off of the crime drama "Ray Donovan", which aired on Showtime from 2013 to 2020. Guy Ritchie will direct and executive produce the new project.

The series will be called "The Donovans" and will tell about a family from London, which can solve any problem of the richest and most influential people in Europe. In such a business, betrayal and danger lurk around every corner, and no one knows what will happen tomorrow.

"We’re going to get under the skin of the criminal underworld in a way which will show you the bone-deep truths of how they live and how it sometimes will – inevitably – impact on our own lives", — said the project's writer Ronan Bennett ("Top Boy").

The series will have ten episodes, premiering later this year.
