I remember going to a wonderful hibernation, other films directed by the director are also excellent and became familiar with Turkish cinema long before the series. You can also recommend the Mustang as a bonus, it is quite spectator, especially since it was quoted in the PVMD.

Oh! Thank you very much, I didn't know about this. Interesting. I thought Turks only shoot in the style of telenovelas. It's nice to be wrong when that's the case.

Only one and a half series came from the Turkish one: Reconnaissance and the Yakamoz S-245 submarine. And then, the first is an action movie almost in the American style (it's still running, now season 4 is in full swing), and the second is just a spin-off of the Belgian series Overnight, and the sequel never happened.
Movies may not be all soap, but I haven't picked up any interesting ones yet.

From the series, I would warmly recommend "Personality". An amazing detective story, and even with a socio-dramatic component, relevant both for Turkey and for Russia in many ways. Now season 2 is out there, I haven't watched it yet, maybe I won't. Season 1 is a complete story with a logical ending.
