Netflix has released a full trailer of the mini-series "Ripley" — a new adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's novel about con man Tom Ripley.
The project is set in the 1960s. In the story Tom Ripley is living in New York, when he is contacted by a rich man. He wants Tom to go to Italy, find his son Dickie Greenleaf and convince him to return home. Ripley agrees and this becomes his first step into a life of deceit, fraud and murder.
The role of Tom Ripley was played by Andrew Scott, Dickie was played by Johnny Flynn, and Marge was played by Dakota Fanning. Also in the cast of the project included Eliot Sumner, Maurizio Lombardi, and John Malkovich.
This is not the first adaptation of Highsmith's novel about Tom Ripley. The most famous — "The Talented Mr. Ripley" — was released in 1999. The main roles in it performed Matt Damon, Jude Law, and Gwyneth Paltrow, and wrote and directed the movie Anthony Minghella.
The new adaptation was developed by Oscar-winning Steven Zaillian, known for "Schindler's List", "Gangs of New York", and "Moneyball". The series will have eight episodes and will be released on Netflix on April 4.

I thought the series was made about her :)
Well, at least 8 episodes can be looked at, and then bread.
And I'm still curious, did they really shoot a black-and-white TV series)) unusual in its way
