Jack (Matt Dillon) is an architect and a dreamer, a polymath and a lover of classical art. Only he can't build his own house: everything goes wrong. In parallel, he kills women, men, small children in various ways. To each of the crimes Jack treats as a real work of art.

"Lars's handwriting, of course, is inimitable. To make a smooth movie without action, but which will hold throughout - art. The violence and brutality is more impressive than frightening, as if it's all appropriate within the confines of this movie", — hu_murillo.

"An indescribably beautiful cinematic essay. Long resisted persuasion to watch it because of the reviews I'd heard about the brutality. But there is no brutality here. And those who see it - you are seeing the completely wrong movie", — actaeon.

Michael Peterson (Tom Hardy) was born into a well-to-do family and never needed anything. He took up the nickname Charles Bronson when he became interested in fist fights and began to engage in petty robbery. When he was first sent to prison at the age of 26, Bronson's mother (Amanda Burton) believed that he would be able to reduce his sentence and quickly get out. But that wasn't the case.

In prison, Bronson's crimes only increase: he tries to escape, takes other prisoners and prison workers hostage, constantly fights with guards. In between, he manages to fall in love, discover his artistic talents and become a celebrity.

The movie is based on the real life story of Charles Bronson, who is still serving time. Preparing for filming, Tom Hardy intensely fed, rocked and was able to gain 19 kilograms of muscle mass. The actor even visited the real Bronson in prison, after which he presented Tom his mustache.

At some point, one of them takes control, causing Kevin to kidnap three girls and imprison them in his home. When the captives come to their senses in the basement, they learn that they are to become food for Kevin's 24th personality named Beast.

"Strongly love this theme, but how fantasy-like it is shown here. However, McAvoy is just god, all the personalities played out to a hundred points", — sonarana.

"McAvoy's acting is just great, I think not many people could play so different characters in one picture. Quite a deep movie, I recommend it to fans of psychological thrillers", — want_chips.

The driver! If you haven't watched this movie yet, you definitely should see it! Perhaps, of all this wonderful collection, the Machinist has sunk most deeply into his soul and has been revised more than once (more is needed!)

The Joker is wonderful! I went to the cinema twice. Once with friends, then I went alone to the front row to enjoy it once again in peace.

I really liked Split, it is well remembered for its idea, it is not often that there are characters with split personalities in films. I also watched the house that Jack built, but I wasn't too thrilled, although the movie is not bad. I'm not talking about the joker at all, it's a brilliant film, I'm madly waiting for the second part, I really hope that the sequel will be even better than the first part

Oh, what a selection! I haven't watched much of it, so I'll add a lot to the list)
The house that Jack built is one of his favorites - he made a pretty big impression when I first looked at it.
Well, I liked the Joker too. Here, the Radiance is already a classic more, I think.
I've been watching the split for a long time, but I can't say that I was very impressed. It seemed like something new, but I wouldn't put it in the top.
