The seventh season of "Black Mirror" will be released in 2025

Streaming service Netflix has announced that the seventh chapter of the "Black Mirror" anthology will be released in 2025. It will have six episodes, one of which will be a continuation of the episode "USS Callisterr" from season four.

"Robert Daly is dead, but for the crew of the USS Callister, their problems are just beginning", — Netflix described the upcoming episode.

The series "USS Callister" was about the crew of the spaceship, which is led by USS Callisterert Daly. But it turns out that Daly is not the captain, but a programmer who used the DNA of his colleagues to create digital copies of them and put them in the game. This is the first time in the show's history that the writers have decided to revisit an already released episode and continue it.

"Black Mirror" is an anthology, with each episode telling a different story, the authors ask the question: how does technology, which has changed almost every aspect of our lives in recent years, affect the relationships between people and can be used against themselves? After all, every plasma screen, monitor, smartphone — a black mirror of human existence in the XXI century.
