The first episodes will be released as early as next week.

Marvel has revealed a teaser for the animated action movie "X-Men '97", a sequel to the "X-Men" animated series released in the 90s. The new show will premiere as early as March 20. On this day on Disney + will be released at once two series.

The action of the upcoming show develops immediately after the finale of the original animated series, in which Professor Charles Xavier died. In the new project, the X-Men will be led by Magneto, and the mutants themselves will have to face a dangerous future and protect the world that hates and fears them.

Marvel has ordered the production of two seasons of the project at once. The script of both has already been completed — it was written by Beau DeMayo ("The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf"), who was recently fired from the company. The reasons for this decision in Marvel did not explain.
