Netflix has released the trailer for "Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story" from comedian Jerry Seinfeld

Netflix has released a trailer for the comedy movie "Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story", the directorial debut of Jerry Seinfeld, author of the "Seinfeld" series.

In 1963 Michigan, Kellogg's and Post — cereal makers and arch rivals — compete to create a new product that will forever change the way breakfast is viewed. Netflix describes the upcoming movie as a story "tale of ambition, betrayal, sugar, and menacing milkmen".

Seinfeld not only directed and wrote the picture, but also starred in it. The project also stars Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, James Marsden, Hugh Grant, Peter Dinklage, Christian Slater, Amy Schumer, and Bill Burr.

The comedy is set for release on May 3.
