The series, based on Viet Thanh Nguyen's novel of the same name, is about a South Vietnamese army captain who flees to Los Angeles in the final days of the war. The main roles in the project were played by Hoa Xuande and Robert Downey Jr., and the showrunner was Park Chan Wook — the director of "Oldboy".
