Netflix has released a new trailer for the third season of "Bridgerton"

This chapter of Shonda Rhimes' series will focus on Colin and Penelope's relationship.

Netflix presented a new trailer of the third season of the series "Bridgerton", which is produced by Shonda Rhimes ("Grey's Anatomy"). The new installment of the show will premiere on May 16: the first four episodes of the third season will air that day. Netflix will release the remaining four episodes a month later — on June 13.

The series "Bridgerton" is based on the novels of Julia Quinn. In the story, the mysterious Lady Whistledown publishes a leaflet in which she retells all the gossip and scandals of London's high society. Most of all she is interested in girls from aristocratic families who are looking for husbands.

The third season will focus on the relationship between Colin and Penelope. Colin returns from his travels and realizes that Penelope began to treat him coldly. Meanwhile, the girl has decided to focus on finding a husband, and Colin, hoping to win back her friendship, offers to help her become more confident in order to attract the perfect groom. But when his lessons start working a little too well, Colin will have to sort out his true feelings for his friend.

@Ne_Edinorog: For my taste, Eloise has the most uninteresting and unremarkable partner in the books. It's a shame for her. Francesca appears in at least one book and does not particularly cling to herself as a character. Maybe there's something more interesting to do with both sisters.

@Spleerom: I basically agree with you. I mean, it hurts me for Francesca, she had a beloved husband who died suddenly. It's just cruel. She herself is a rare guest in books, the most isolated member of the family and seems to have the hardest life. It was especially strange to read about Francesca in other books, suddenly she got married, suddenly became a widow, as if she were not Bridgerton, but a minor character. About Eloise, I probably couldn't accept her story for 2 months. For me, Benedict and Eloise are the best characters, I adore them and as if they have the most uninteresting stories. But in principle, I have already accepted it. But Francesca, I wish her life wasn't as painful as in the book.

If you want to read a book, go read it, believe me, do not spoil the series for yourself at all. You will only be disappointed in the books and realize how much the series is depressing. Don't worry. A book is generally a different work with its own plot and with its own twists. And you can't spoilerize the series based on it. Now it is clear what kind of people put dislikes.
