Unfortunately, the impression was significantly spoiled by the ending, which was indistinct, and somehow inexplicably unnatural and alien emotionally and even genre-wise. And after all, I can't advise you not to watch it, without the last episode of the last season, too many storylines will remain unfinished, however, some annoying incompleteness remains with it. In general, it's a completely unnecessary fly in the ointment for a completely decent and interesting series.
It's a good story and a great script. Trial lawyers are by no means abstract ideal functions, only thinking about the triumph of law and justice or about civic duty and their obligations to society. No, these are normal employees, real, sometimes cynical, with their own feelings, weaknesses, addictions, principles and emotions, they can fall in love, get angry, make mistakes, lose their temper, get tired or get sick. In short, ordinary living people, it's just their job.
And it's not boring to watch. The cases are diverse, with unusual circumstances and unexpected turns, stormy and dramatic debates in court, all sorts of situations, personal problems, official conflicts, and just various interesting details of court proceedings and the nuances of the office and clerks. High-quality production and editing, they play well, there are many good actors and even more interesting and ambiguous characters. It turned out to be a smart and rather fascinating production series about barristers and the judicial system in general, without pathos and romance, believable, lively and entertaining.
Language. They speak well, but it's very difficult. There are no terrible accents, but they speak a lot, sometimes quite quickly, they come across slang, a lot of terminology. Most of the main characters are well-educated humanitarians, besides they are professional masters of beautiful presentation. Even with subtitles, it's sometimes a bit difficult.
